Do you want to own a "conversation piece"? These chairs, when put into your living room, will provide a retro ambiance that says, "Hey, I'm stylish! I'm hip! I don't care about lumbar support!" These unique chairs are excellent for drying clothes, storing books and papers, and romantic encounters. They're like new and have only been sat in once.

Note that the chairs are good for "romantic encounters" - don't forget Valentine's Day is only 3 days away. You could have these babies bought and in your home in less than a day just in time for your romantic encounter on Saturday...wocka, wocka.

Kind of makes you wonder what happened the one time they were, um, 'sat' in. Before making an offer I would factor in the cost of a professional cleaning :)
I am convinced that a large component of heaven will be enjoying witty ads like these - they are my all-time favorites.
Nice one!
Hilarious! I am always so impressed with people who can make something as mundane as selling used furniture sound interesting.
Also, thanks for the reminder to start cyber-yardsaling: it's time to clean out the closets and garage!
Thanks for the laugh. Claudia, don't bother cleaning out closets I will just buy these chairs and we can store all that useless stuff in our new "conversation" pieces. :-)
Tristan: For sure a professional cleaning would be in order. It's just too bad there's no room in my house for these beauties!
Corbie: I sure hope heaven does have wit - and chocolate!
Claudia: After you finish your spring cleaning can you come start on mine?? For some reason I can easily get rid of other peoples stuff for them but mine...
Josh: Great idea! Tristan, Corbie and I can bring them out when we take a road trip to your much warmer city.
Hey! I have a chair just like those (although, the fabric/design is not as eye-catching.) I agree...not very comfortable on an everyday basis, but easier to sleep in than most chairs.
Would have never paid that much for it though. I inherited it 2 summers ago.
