Another day, another bath.

Now this is not a particularly surprising or unique picture. It could really be any toddler who's naive mother gives him a cup of pudding, a spoon, and the freedom to fling it where he may. One could even argue it's a right of passage. It's beginnings of childhood in which everything is fun, everything is for play, and curiosity is the fuel that spurs all that fun. But as I wipe chocolaty pudding from all surfaces of my kitchen, I started pondering about all the symbolic meaning one can garner from a child eating pudding. The deepest of which being, "What makes for a better picture: chocolate pudding, spaghetti, grape jelly, or mint ice cream?"

Evan, on the other hand, is either pondering the origin of toe jam or checking for puppies outside. Either way, we're a house full of thinkers.

Of course,Evan is a thinker! With two such smart parents, did he have any other choice?
I love these pictures even more because I took the same ones about 2 weeks ago of Adayla. She abandoned the spoon almost immediately and tried to eat the pudding with her hands. Wouldn't have been that bad, except the doorbell rang right as she was finishing.

Think of the fun he could have with those new squeezable yogurt cups (with the oh-so-annoying sound)!

Claudia: Don't you hate that! Murphy's law, eh? I sure hope you're coming in the summer now that you've got us in eager anticipation. :>

Tristan: Haven't seen the squeezable yogurt cups yet and maybe I'll just not clue Evan into them either!
