And the snow keeps coming...

Todd has been referring to Logan as "frigid Hell" and I really can't say I disagree or wish the snow would stop coming and coming and making things really really cold. I'm sure I just need to lighten up like this guy:

But I probably won't.

But come and visit. Seeing the Elk gathered at Hardware Ranch is a pretty awesome sight and they even have hay rides that take you right amongst the elk.

We'll make hot chocolate for the brave souls that venture up here. With whip cream or marshmallows even.

Very funny! Sorry you are in Hell. I'd tell you that it was 80 degrees here on Saturday, but then I would have to be totally honest and also tell you we had freezing rain today. Warmer by midweek, thank goodness.

Here's the thing about cold weather - you can always wear more and drink more hot chocolate. When it's 100 and grossly humid here, there is only so much clothing one can take off, especially if one would still like to go to the grocery store to buy more popsicles, which is the only acceptable dinner food in June, July, August, and usually September. Just for perspective.

Actually, 100 sounds kind of nice right now but I'm sure I'll change my mind come July. :> My Uncle really has the right idea with a summer home in SLC and a winter home in St. George. Oh, to be retired and rich.

I realized in Utah over Christmas just how cold places can get. Even with the occasional freezing temps I welcomed being back in Texas where it can be 80 degrees in January. Don't get me wrong, I loved visiting Utah and would do it again.alini

I might have to take you up on the Elk thing. My kids would totally dig that and there has to be something good to come out of this horrid snow!

Josh - I don't think I'd mind the freezing temps if it was 80 degrees in January once in awhile! Where's that global warming when you want it?

Tristan - you and your family are welcome any time. It's really neat to see all the elk. One year we saw two bucks play fighting with their antlers for like an hour to avoid fighting an obviously much larger bull elk waiting in line for his chance to play fight! Just let me know when and we'll get the hot chocolate ready. :> (and a late lunch or dinner if you want - Todd's a great cook)

The snow keeps coming...new posts, however, do not.

Tristan isn't exactly cranking out new posts at record speed either, Sarah, so don't worry about the peer pressure. Of course, her entire family has been sick with the flu but I'm sure you have some equally good reason...right? :)

No, no real great excuse. I admit, I am partaking of the blogging tree but not yielding much fruit. I'll try to be more fruitful - even if the fruit is overripe or slightly bruised...
Ok, so just what IS a respectable time between posts - 2 days, 3 days, one week? I can't find these rules Tristan keeps talking about anywhere on google! :>
